Terms & Conditions
A condition of buying your contact lenses from Easy Contacts is that you must have a valid
contact lens prescription. Your contact lens prescription must have been issued by a
qualified licensed Optical Practitioner, and you should have your eyes examines regularly
to keep your prescription valid.
You must have had instruction from your eye care practicioner with respect to the proper care
and use of your lenses.
This condition also applies to the purchase of Coloured Plano (i.e. no optical power) contact lenses.
Ordering from Easy Contacts
Add to Cart
You can order your contact lenses from Easy Contacts using our online shopping cart. Simply find your
contact lenses by browsing by Brand
or by Category. Once you find
your contact lenses, click on the 'more info' button to view a detailed description of the contact lenses.
(For your convenience, you may also find your contact lenses from our most popular 'Best Sellers' listing on the home page.)
From the detailed description page, you may add the contact lenses to your shopping cart under the 'Add to Cart' section
on the right hand side of the page. Simply enter your contact lens details as shown on your contact lens prescription. Take care to select
the correct values, paying particular attention to the (+ve) positive and (-ve) negitive values.
If you cannot select
the exact details as shown on your prescription, (e.g. your prescription diameter specifies 14.2 but only 14.5 is shown), please contact us
before progressing with the order.
When you have entered your prescription details, click on the 'Add to Cart' button, and the contact lenses will be
added to your shopping cart. You may delete or edit items in your shopping cart at anytime before checking out.
For customers who have not purchased online before, a shopping cart is the online equivalent of a shopping trolley in a supermarket. The shopping
cart concept is a convenient approach for listing the items in, and total value of, your order prior to checking out.
If you wish to proceed and purchase your contact lenses, you will be guided through the checkout process.
The checking out process includes:

1. To start the checkout process, click on the Proceed to Secure Checkout' link on the View Cart page. You will be forwarded to our Secure Socket Layer protected web pages during the checkout process (for more information on security, please read below).
The first step is to confirm your order, and to acknowledge your agreement with the terms for ordering with Easy Contacts. Please review your order, and the terms and condition associated with ordering with Easy Contacts. If you agree, tick the box and click on the 'Next >>'
button. If you notice a mistake in your order, or if you do not agree with or meet our terms, click on the 'Cancel Checkout' button, and you will be returned to the shopping cart.
2. The next step is to enter your delivery details. Please enter all the requested details, including your E-Mail address (we will use this E-Mail address to confirm your order).
3. The third and final step is to enter your Credit Card (or Debit Card) details, or to select your alternative payment method. Once you have entered your payment details, click on 'Continue >>'. (Important Note: by clicking on 'Continue >>' on this page, you are confirming your order.)
Once you have submitted the payment page, the order will be generated, and you will be issued with a confirmation receipt, including your 'Order Reference'. A copy will also be sent to your E-Mail address (entered in step 2: delivery details). Your order is now complete!
Using the 'Back' button on your browser during the checkout process will return you to the shopping cart.

you click on 'Search', a new window will open containing the search results that
is powered by Google.
Returns / Warranty
You should receive the contact lenses exactly as ordered. If we make a mistake, please send them back and we will refund your postage (i.e. for returning the lenses to us) in addition to fixing up your order.
If there is ever any doubt with an order, we will obtain clarification from you before we proceed with processing your order.
Should you need to return your contact lenses due to entering incorrect prescription details, we can only accept unopened contact lens packs in their original packaging - the contact lenses must be returned to us in perfect condition, so please pack carefully. A restocking fee of $5.00 per box (to cover the manufacturer restocking fee) plus deliver $6.00 x 2 will apply (i.e. total $12.00 for cost of postage to send the returned lenses back to the manufacturer, plus to send the replacement lenses back to you).
We do not guarantee you against any prescription or parameter changes made by your optometrist or ophthalmologist after your lenses have been ordered. We do not guarantee lenses ordered without a valid contact lens prescription.
In the case of contact lenses with a manufacturing fault (occurs rarely), we will organize for replacement lenses under the manufacturers warranty.
In these circumstances we are bound by the manufacturers conditions, and have to fullfil any of their warranty requirements. This usually means sending the faulty
lenses back with its blister pack and box. For this sort of warranty we will cover the cost of shipping from us to the manufacturer and from the manufacturer back to us.
The customer is responsible for the shipping cost back to us, and for our shipping to the customer. Please Contact Us and ask if there
are any problems.
Delivery / Postage
Easy Contacts has a fixed postage and packaging charge of $6.00 per order.
Orders are usually dispatched within 3 days of receiving your order, and are dispatched within 1 working day if your contact lenses are in stock. For orders placed using an alternative method of payment (cheque, money order or direct
funds transfer), your order will be processed when payment has been confirmed.
In most circumstances, your order will be sent using Express Post. For high value orders, or for delivery to some Unit type dwellings, Registered Post will be used unless
we make alternative arrangements. When Registered Post is used and there is nobody available to sign for the delivery parcel, a card will be left and the parcel will be
forwarded to your local Australia Post Office for pick up.
We will send you a notification by E-Mail when your contact lens order is posted so that you know when to expect your delivery. You may estimate the postal time
by entering your Post Code below:-
For some parts of Australia, or for delivery to specific locations, we do use
alternative postal/delivery services that are the most appropriate. Please allow 2 to 5 working days for delivery following dispatch. This means that you should
allow 4 to 7 working days from placing the order (by credit card) to receiving your order.
Easy Contacts takes security very seriously. We have implemented industry standard Secure Socket Layer technology to protect your information during transmission
throughout the checkout process. We validate our authenticity via the Certificate issued by RapidSSL (you can view this
Certificate by double clicking on the padlock icon that will appear during checkout).
In accordance with best practices, any credit card information is used for processing the payment only, and is immediatelly discarded.

If applicable, you can claim with your health fund for your contact lenses. You will receive an itemised receipt with your order that
will contain the required optometrist's provider number, for which you will be able to submit to your health fund.
You can pay for your order by Credit Card, Cheque, Australia Post Money Order, or by Direct Credit Transfer.
For credit cards, we accept Visa, MasterCard, BankCard and American Express. Please note that payments by
American Express will incur an additional surcharge of 2%. Visa, MasterCard and BankCard do not attract this additional
For Cheques, Money Orders and Direct Fund Transfers, we will confirm your order, and contact you to arrange payment
by your chosen method.
Errors / Omissions
In the event an incorrect product listing, including price, description, special offers, due
to typographical, photographic, technical error, or other error, then Easy Contacts shall have the
right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed.
In the event of such an error, we will contact you to notify you of the changes affecting your
order. You may agree to continue with the order with the changes applied, or you may cancel without
